We set off waves pounding at our sides like
hail pounding at a window. It was a boring day lucky I had my joke book to cheer us up.

Beast
Quest
By Adam Blade
I love beast quest it is my favourite fictional series.
AVANTIA is a made up land where Tom and Elenna live. I love
it because it is amazing because they save AVANTIA from evil beasts sent by
MARVAL an evil wizard.
You can get it in Spanish and French too.
HOW THINGS WORK
Steve Parker
NON FICTION
It has fantastic pictures and
brilliant diagrams they also have a lot of detail put into it. There are brilliant
internet links but we have not tried them yet but I think it’s cool. There are very interesting facts in it.
my favourite sections are gadgets and space exploration.

My year on Tarquilla
This year has made me feel happy because all the wonderful
places we have been. I have also done loads of work this term and I am very
proud of myself.
The favourite place I have been to
is the railway museum, in Gijon ,
because of the wonderful steam engines it’s the biggest train museum I’ve ever
seen and it has real trains in it and you get to hop into some and there is a
mirror carriage which makes you think that the track is going on for ever.
The best thing was seeing the starfish at Camaret and here
in marina Yates there are sea anemones on the pontoon, we’ve seen goose
barnacles and we’ve also seen flocks of robins like a coat patchworked with
beautiful red and soft brown. We’ve also seen beautiful dolphins, they were
very intelligent and they managed to swim under Tarquilla’s propellers they
also like to leap out. There were loads of shrimps [Gijon], we used a lot as
live bait, well loads, but we didn’t catch anything and then we went fishing
off the end of the wave break using normal tackle.
I love to sit on the front of
the boat with my legs dangling when we are moving whilst the water is rushing
past.
It was a really awesome year

Richards blog entry
Yesterday we saw a man pretending to be a statue he
was really funny.
My favourite food is
baguettes and cheese, we usually get the baguettes from a boloungerie but
sometimes we get them from supermarkets but the bread tastes better if it’s
from a boloungerie. We saw the baguette yesterday being made. First they were
tying knots in dough then they stopped it and we saw some men picking up Y
shaped baguettes and putting them in the oven and then I spotted one pull out a
weird machine and he started putting round dough like balls into it but then we
had to go.
You get big Atlantic swell in
this part of France ,
at Houat we got loads of big swell the swell made the boat rock vigorously.
It’s fun for us when we are at the beach and it’s breaking on top of us
especially if you’ve got a life jacket on ‘cause when the wave crashes on top
of you then you’ll shoot up, better hold your breath because you’ll be going
inside the wave.
