Super sailing in St Quay
Sailing
boats are taking part in some awesome racing today. There
are eight boats representing different countries, some will be taking part in
the 2012 Olympics. Each boat has a team of three ladies on.
Sometimes
today they were a bit slow as there was not much wind, they put up their
spinnakers to catch the most of the wind and it was really cool watching them
go up particularly as they went round the buoys marking the race. They were
tipping and tilting and I thought some would go off and crash into the scary rocks
which were surrounded by the spooky mists.
We
don’t know who won but we did know they all managed to finish the race safely. All
the best to them for the Olympics!
